Black Dove exists to love Christians into being and doing better. We exist to be a home for those who feel the need to stand up for the needy, to speak out for the voiceless, to say, “Because I’m a follower of Christ, I must xyz.”
Today I’m launching a companion to this work. I’ll be writing here to help craft the vision of what we can and should be. In a large part, it is a ministry of Black Dove Society. Check it out if you’re interested in reading about the future of dirty Christianity – one that builds and fights and works.
I’m thankful for my roots – but they largely teach of an escapist Christianity – one that longs for a distant land where everything is beautiful and nothing hurts. This isn’t what we’re called to as Jesus’ hands and feet.
I’ll write here about what I’m building – what we’re building.
